OF SOCIAL FAIRNESS STANDARDS

IN PRODUCING COUNTRIES

Those companies participating in the „sozial-fair“ (social fairness) initiative

will oblige their business partners worldwide – producers, suppliers, agents and service providers – to confirm compliance with the conditions of the „sozial-fair“ (social fairness) initiative to ensure socially fair, fit-for-human-beings conditions of work within their own and all those companies they receive materials or services from.

Partaking companies and their business partners are willing to submit

to verification of such compliance through inspection companies

nominated by VFI /ANFI.

The VFI / ANFI „sozial-fair“ (social fairness) initiative  

has six major points, none of which are negotiable.

Social Fairness Clause 

1 Child labour is only permitted within the framework of

national rules

2 Forced labour is prohibited

3 Minimum standards for health and safety at the work place

are to be guaranteed

4 Liberty to unite ought to be granted

5 Weekly hours to be worked and overtime and compensation

therefore are to be based on legal or negotiated standards 

6 Company owners and directors confirm and

document compliance with the above standards within their

own companies and suppliers and will submit

such documentation upon request to VFI/ANFI-nominated

 inspection companies. Such documentation is also to be presented

individually and contract-based to VFI / ANFI member-companies.
